Is it OK to cosleep with cold/flu?

We co-sleep. Concern: DS, 18 months, recently had a virus (last Monday) – we thought it passed (Wednesday), but reared it’s ugly head with new symptoms on Thursday night – had vomit/fever, now runny nose and cough… He was starting to get better (Monday), but now that I am sick – appears that his runny nose is getting worse? I am definitely feeling more sick and worried that I will get him more sick, etc. because we are co-sleeping. Q: Should I move to another room and let him just be with his dad? Note: I’m still BF, but not as much – 3 to 5x/day. Running a humidifier and air purifier in our room… Help?

That’ll be good. That is included to the treatment of common cold. Take also vitamins to treat common cold and enhace or generate you immune system.

I think it’s fine…you are all sharing germs at this point, all over the house.
I gotta say, I hope the sleeping arrangements are because of the sick in your house, because 18 months is way too old to be sharing your bed.
